Temperature control based on soft computing methods

Improved control of high-temperature systems using soft computing methods. The main goal is a more uniform temperature distribution in industrial furnaces for heat treatment of materials.

About the project

A new approach to temperature process control based on soft computing methods. The project improved the approach to controlling high-temperature systems, which are usually based on linear models.

The main emphasis is on a better temperature field distribution in industrial furnaces for heat treatment of materials, with fewer heaters, limited by the technological and economic constraints of the system. Advanced concepts and control algorithms are used, such as evolutionary algorithms, neural networks and fuzzy logic.
