Trenutni trend v tehnologiji je uporaba opto-elektronskih metod generiranja THz valov, ki temelji na foto-prevodnih antenah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terahertz\u010dna sprektroskopija je razdeljena na dve domeni: \u010dasovna domena in frekven\u010dna domena. V \u010dasovni domeni je za generiranje uporabljen femto sekundni laser s THz pasovno \u0161irino, v \u010dasovni domeni pa sta uporabljena dva DFB laserja in opti\u010dni mno\u017eilnik. Slednji je predstavljen na Sliki 1, na Sliki 2 pa je predstavljen komercialni sistem TeraScan proizvajalca Toptica Photonics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Procesiranje podatkov pri terahertz\u010dni spektroskopiji temelji na identifikacijksih in kvantizacijksih metodah. Identifikacijske metode slonijo na merjenju spektralnih lastnosti merjenega vzorca \u2013 absorbcije in reflektivnosti. Kvantizacijske metode pa v ve\u010dini temeljijo na metodah kemometrike, najpogosteje PCA in PLS analizi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terahertz\u010dna tehnologija za spektroskopijo in zajem slik \u0161e je v povojih. Zaradi visoke cene in kompleksnosti je v trenutni obliki na voljo le za laboratorijsko eksperimentiranje.
