Two approaches will be investigated within the scope of the proposed project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.) compact high-sensitive refractive index (RI) sensors,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.) compact, short response-time, high-resolution, all-fiber optical thermometers and anemometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both concepts shall allow compact sensor designs, high measurement resolutions, and suitable bandwidth. Proposed concepts, if successfully demonstrated, shall provide a basis for the potential development of field-applicable devices.
